Best-selling author launches festival
BEST-SELLING author Jodi Picoult launches Lincoln Book Festival on Monday, May 3.
It is one of only 14 appearances she is making as part of a UK tour.
Jodi, whose 17 bestsellers include My Sister’s Keeper, which was recently made into a film, will talk about her latest novel, House Rules, about a boy with Asperger’s syndrome who becomes a suspect in a murder investigation.
Jodi will be at the Lincoln Performing Arts Centre at 1pm.
As well as talking about House Rules, she will take questions and meet fans at a book signing afterwards.
The seventh Lincoln Book Festival festival runs from May 12 to 16 and features more than 80 events.
Tickets are on sale from the festival box office on 01522 873894.
Festival brochures are available in Newark and Southwell, including at tourist information centres, libraries and bookshops.
