More than 20 young actors from Nottinghamshire will present a gripping 20th Century tale of love and betrayal at Nottingham Playhouse.
Blood Wedding, by Federico Garcia Lorca, is a youth theatre production directed by Sarah Stevenson and can be seen from April 15 to April 17 at 7.30pm.
It opens with family preparations in full swing for a son’s wedding. When an ex-lover of the bride turns up unexpectedly, a long-standing family feud threatens to spoil the proceedings.
Chloe McKiernan, 15, from Gedling plays the bride, Hayden James, 17, from Carlton is the bridegroom, Michael Fairless, 16, from Beeston is Leonardo and Imogen O’Sullivan, 17, from Bingham is a servant.
