Burns night
THE Projection House team begins their second year of films in Oxton Village Hall with a Scottish-themed night with a nod to Robert Burns.
On Saturday, February 2, there will be a screening of the animated Pixar film, Brave (PG) featuring the voice of Billy Connolly.
This family-friendly film is set in medieval Scotland and charts the tale of a princess growing up in a male-dominated society.
Afterwards a meal of Haggis, tatties and neaps will be served, with alternative mince and vegetarian options. There will be a Scottish-themed quiz for all the family.
Doors open at 6pm, with the film starting half an hour later.
Tickets are available from the Oxton Village Shop, Ethel Cottee on 0115 9653477 or Roy Walker on 0115 9653595.
