Science Museum Live aims to inspire at Newark Palace Theatre and Nottingham Playhouse
London’s world-renowned Science Museum is heading out on the road with one aim – to inspire the next generation.
Science Museum Live is a new stage production aimed at igniting curiosity, fuelling imagination, and inspiring youngsters in new and exciting ways.
It is at Newark’s Palace Theatre on Tuesday (April 2) at 6pm, and can also be seen at the Nottingham Playhouse on Tuesday, April 9.
It has been produced by Mark Thompson Productions in partnership with London’s Science Museum and covers topics appropriate for key stage two and early key stage three.
The show covers a range of physics, chemistry and engineering topics including sound, weight and mass, fluid dynamics, air pressure, combustion, friction, states of matter and changes of state.
Also at the Palace Theatre is The Ultimate Classic Rock Show, which is at the venue a week on Saturday.
Dust off your air guitars for an evening of the very best classic rock anthems from legends past and present, accompanied by a light and projection show.
It features more than two hours of classic rock anthems from artists including Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Free, The Eagles and Jimi Hendrix to name but a few.
