Chefs’ skills on show for food festival fans
Celebrity chefs galore will show off their culinary skills at the inaugural Great Taste Festival Of Food And Drink at the weekend.
The event at Clumber Park features Michelin star chef John Burton Race, MasterChef’s Stacie Stewart and wild food expert and cook Mark Lloyd.
They are among the celebrities who will be in action in the cookery theatre.
A successful chef, television personality and restaurateur, John Burton Race is a regular on TV shows such as Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is, Britain’s Best Dish, Daily Cooks Challenge, and Country House Cooking. John will be in the kitchen on both days.
Renowned for his British wild food knowledge and farm to fork ethos, Mark Lloyd will appear on Sunday.
He has a passion for shooting, fishing and foraging, rears his own livestock and has an amazing understanding of kitchen gardens and animal husbandry as he creates fantastic recipes with the best offered by Britain’s larder.
Mark has appeared on TV shows such as River Cottage, Great British Waste Menu, Market Kitchen, Hairy Bikers and live slots on BBC Breakfast as a food expert.
On Sunday, ITV’s Food Glorious Food judge Stacie Stewart will cook up a storm as well as offer advice, answer questions and sign her latest books.
A former MasterChef finalist, Stacie regularly appears on ITV’s This Morning as a guest chef in the live cookery slot.
Food Glorious Food semi-finalist Angela Wilson will spice things up in the kitchen on both days.
