After last year’s sell-off performance, Tina’s Ultimate Rock Show returns to Southwell Minster’s grounds this weekend.

It is the latest in a series of summer events to take place at the minster over the next few weeks.

Tomorrow, sees the latest Lunchtime Concert take place in the quire, from 1.30pm to 2.15pm.

Sheepish Grin — John Crawford and Richard Mecia (melodeaon and fiddle) — will perform a programme of British traditional music, airs, jigs and reels, featuring a combination of well-established and more recent tunes.

Admission is free but there is a retiring collection for the minster’s organ scholarship.

There is live theatre in the minster grounds with Cinderella on August 14, followed by The Railway Children on August 19.

Finally, the minster will form the centrepiece of Southwell Music Festival over the August Bank Holiday.
