The Living Heritage 2012 events season begins with a Craft And Country Fair at Thoresby Park at the weekend — March 17 and 18.
There will be falconry, glass-blowing, blacksmith demonstrations, archery, air guns, gun dog handling, lurcher racing and working dog displays.
Falconer Chris Neale will be on hand to discuss his sport on both days.
Newcomers to country sports can get involved with the Learn How To events, giving people free 20-minute tutorials in angling, shooting and gun dog handling.
There is also a food area and craft village for rural demonstrations.
