Dark Knight rises
A HISTORIC venue plays host to a special outdoor cinema experience this month as part of its Summer Nights Film Festival 2013.
Wolllaton Hall in Nottingham will screen The Dark Knight Rises (12A) and Les Miserables (12A).
The venue, used as Wayne Manor in The Dark Knight Rises, has already garnered much attention due to its Hollywood role, and the screenings will provide a great backdrop for the events.
Anyone wanting to watch the films can take a picnic.
Les Miserables can be seen tomorrow at 7pm. This sweeping and spectaclar interpretation by the Oscar-winning director Tom Hooper brings to life the classics, I Dreamed A Dream, Bring Him Home and One Day More. It features an Oscar-winning performance from Anne Hathaway.
The Dark Knight Rises will be screened on Saturday at 7pm. Christopher Nolan returns to Gotham City for a final go-around with Christian Bales’s Batman. Also starring Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy it features scenes from the film shot at Wollaton Hall.
