The Shires celebrate new album 10 Year Plan with shows at Lincoln Engine Shed and Nottingham Royal Concert Hall
Country music duo The Shires are on the road following the release of their latest album, 10 Year Plan.
The Shires — Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes — said: “We celebrate ten years together as duo next year and this album is looking back at every point on that journey — all the milestones we have had.
“Our hope is that this album can be the soundtrack to uplift our spirits again and enable us all to create new happy memories.”
The duo will perform at Lincoln Engine Shed on Wednesday (May 11) and also at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall on May 23.
The duo formed in 2013 and have gone on to have five number one UK country albums.
With their debut album Brave, released in 2015, they became the first UK country act to chart in the Top 10 of the UK Albums Chart.
The group’s second album, My Universe, released the following year, was the fastest-selling UK country album.
They were followed by Accidentally On Purpose and Good Years.
