Exhibition celebrates all things silver

The work of many contemporary silversmiths from across the UK will be on show as part of British Silver Work 2010.
The exhibition at The David Fowkes Gallery at Thoresby Park will take place from Saturday, June 26, to July 8, housed in part in the Grade II listed former coach house of the Victorian manor house.
The exhibition revolves around the idea of making silver live. David dresses antique tables with pieces of silver in use, promoting silverware as functional, rather than something to just buy and stick in a cabinet.
He has asked those taking part to create pieces with price points that cross the board.
