Gloworm organisers reveal some of the plans and headliners for 2026 Gloworm Festival at Thoresby Park, near Newark
The UK’s biggest dedicated family festival has unveiled headliners and major upgrades for the ‘biggest and best; 10th anniversary celebration.
Families can expect new entertainment, campsite upgrades, and headline acts as Gloworm Festival will mark its 10th anniversary at Thoresby Park from August 7 to 9, 2026.
Following overwhelmingly positive feedback from this year’s event — with more than 90 per cent of visitors saying they would ‘definitely attend again’ – the festival team has announced a raft of upgrades and a line-up packed with family favourites.
Among the headline acts are Jo O’Meara of S Club, who will open the weekend with a full live band set exclusively for campers, glampers and live-in vehicle ticket holders.
The Friday night celebrations will continue with Kevin and Perry Official, performing their iconic Ibiza-style DJ set, and K-Pop Hunters, bringing a global pop twist to the stage.
Saturday’s entertainment includes Swift & Styles, a tribute to Taylor Swift and Harry Styles, followed by The Vengaboyz Experience, delivering a medley of 90s dance classics.
Black Lace’s Dene Michael is also set to return by popular demand, with his well-known hits Agadoo and Superman guaranteed to get the crowd moving.
On Sunday, Pat Sharp will return with another high-energy DJ set, joined by the Fun House Twins for a full reunion party, while Straight out of Oz will transport audiences into a world of emerald magic with a spellbinding performance.
Twist & Pulse, stars of Britain’s Got Talent and TikTok, are also making a comeback, with VIP guests able to join the dance duo for an exclusive workshop.
Festival Director Richard Walpole said the milestone year will celebrate both the event’s growth and the strong sense of community that surrounds it.
He added: “What makes Gloworm so special is our amazing community of Glowormers, the passionate parents who share their ideas and feedback with us every year.
“We have a dedicated Facebook group of more than 1,000 families, and their input genuinely helps shape the festival.
“It’s important to us that Gloworm is designed by our customers, for their families, and that’s what keeps it evolving and getting better every year.”
Audience feedback has directly shaped next year’s improvements, which include a relocated general campsite next to the glamping field, a new pamper area, and morning campsite activities for early risers.
Campers will also get early access to the main arena from 9.30am, and for the first time, the main stage will stay open later, until 10pm each night.
More water refill points, clearer signage, and a new solo parent ticket have also been introduced to make the festival more inclusive.
Families praised this year’s event for its ‘friendly, safe and inclusive’ atmosphere, with popular highlights including unlimited fairground rides, the Playmobil Play Village, and the Playmobil Rave, which will both return in 2026.
Other much-loved activities such as White Post Farm, art sessions, crafts, laser tag, and skateboarding will also feature once again.
The festival continues to draw families from across the UK, with visitors last year travelling from as far as Plymouth, Newcastle, Anglesey, Newport and Fife.
Tickets for the 2026 festival are now on sale, with a variety of weekend and day options available, including family passes, solo parent tickets, VIP upgrades and glamping packages.
