Ben was a concerto finalist in the 2016 BBC Young Musician of the Year Competition.

He is now making a mark on the classical world as an outstanding horn soloist of his generation and has performed in most of the major concert halls in Europe.

Conducted by Mark Heron, the programme also features Jennifer Higdon’s The Blue Cathedral, and the spectacular finale to Shostakovich’s Symphony No 5.

Tickets costing £16-£20 (students and children £5) are available from the minster shop, or the orchestra’s website.
