Newark Town Hall is set to host a range of events from January to March




A town hall is set to be welcoming a range of events from comedy and mediumship to Mother’s Day events.

From January until the end of March, Newark Town Hall will be welcoming visitors to its premises for a range of events.

On January 31, there will be a Funhouse comedy club for a night of laughter with three acts compered by Stevie Gray.

The evening will see comedians El Baldinho, Frizz Frizzle and Patrick Draper.

Doors will open at 7pm and food is to be served at 7.30pm. The show is meant to last from 8pm to 10.45pm.

Tickets for the show are £15 or £25 which included a bowl of loaded nachos.

On February 28, one of the most fluent spiritual mediums and clairvoyants in the UK, Trisha, will take over the evening.

The doors and bar will open at 6.30pm and the show is set to last from 7pm until 9.45pm.

Tickets cost £25 and include prosecco and cake.

Celebrating Mother's Day, on March 29, there will be a traditional afternoon tea at the Ballroom with live music playing throughout the afternoon.

It includes a free glass of fizz for mothers and tickets are £30 per person.

On March 30, there will be a Mother’s Day Sunday Carvery which offers a two-course meal including dessert for £30 per person.
