Pride and Prejudice* (*sort of) will visit Nottingham’s Theatre Royal from Monday, October 21 to Saturday, October 26 October
A highly-praised west end show is heading out on tour and promises to have audiences rolling in their seats in this comedic alternative take on a classic tale.
Pride and Prejudice* (*sort of) will visit Nottingham’s Theatre Royal from Monday, October 21 to Saturday, October 26 October.
Written and directed by Olivier and Evening Standard Award winner Isobel McArthur, the show is a unique and audacious retelling of Jane Austen’s classic love story.
With men, money and microphones ready to be fought over, the romantic stakes are high in this irreverent but affectionate adaptation.
The also show features a string of pop classics including Young Hearts Run Free, Will You Love Me Tomorrow and You’re So Vain — it may be the 1800s, but it’s also party time.
The new production is co-produced by Newcastle Theatre Royal with David Pugh, and the Uk tour is sponsored by Cunard.
