It is four years since the all-girl group, The Saturdays, were formed, redecorating the music business with their sparkingly fluorescent hyper-pop.

With a string of hits under their belts, they are back with an arena tour called All Fired Up and will be at Nottingham’s Capital FM Arena on Monday, December 12.

The girls will perform, among others, If This Is Love, Up, Issues, Just Can’t Get Enough, Missing You, Higher, Notorious, All Fired Up and current single, My Heart Takes Over.

The Saturdays are Frankie Sandford and Rochelle Wiseman, who both used to be in S Club Juniors, Mollie King, Vanessa White and Una Healey, who is expecting her first baby.

Vanessa said: “I am so excited about the entire tour and looking forward to performing in Nottingham with our six male dancers and live band. We were able to watch them audition and help choose them.

“Although Una is having a baby she will still be doing all the dance routines. We are all so happy for her. It is going to be a great show with lots of colourful costumes and fantastic music.

“Earlier this year we went to Iceland to film the video for our latest single, My Heart Takes Over, and it was absolutely freezing. We were all wearing short outfits and it was extremely cold but it was worth it as it is such a powerful ballad and my favourite song.”

Vanessa said she never thought The Saturdays would be so successful and was blown away when they were asked to support Girls Aloud.

“We have worked very hard and it has paid off and now have several hit singles to our name. It is fantastic,” she said.

“I had always wanted to be a singer since I was five. I would always be performing and so I went to stage school from the age of 12 to 16 and really enjoyed it.

“When the tour ends we will continue working, promoting our songs and will then probably start working on another album.”
