Matricks illusionists on Newark Palace Theatre stage fresh from Britain's Got Talent
Fresh from their appearance on the latest series of Britain’s Got Talent, Matricks Illusion is heading to Newark’s Palace Theatre.
They will bring their Believing In The Impossible show to the town on Sunday, June 19.
Matricks Illusion is world class illusionist Alexander Jesson and his sister, Emily.
Together, they have created an innovative act featuring ground-breaking illusions to amaze and delight audiences.
As well as bewildering audiences, Matricks combines elements of danger, comedy and charm in an unforgettable show.
The pair have been performing together from a young age, starting in the children’s hour at their parent’s holiday village and gradually honing their act over the years.
Matricks combines elements of danger, comedy and charm. The show is designed to balance comedy and light heartedness with curiosity, mystery and thrill.
It blends set pieces and fast-paced magic and illusion with dance using current music and special effects.
Master illusionist Alexander captures the imagination of the audience using choreographed precision throughout the production.
As well as appearing on this year’s ITV talent show Britain’s Got Talent, they have also worked with Bradley Walsh and international star KSI.
Also coming up at the Palace Theatre is a production of Aladdin, featuring young performers.
The musical show is staged from a week today to Saturday, June 25, by Rare Productions, which puts on large-scale productions for local young performers.
It is the classic tale of the Aladdin, the poor street urchin who falls in love with a beautiful Princess, gets kidnapped by the Queen’s loyal advisor sent down a deep dark cave where he meets a Genie who can answer all his prayers.
Will Aladdin finally get the girl of his dreams and will the kingdom be saved from the evil clutches of Kazeer and his interesting sidekick Botch?
