Industry treasure Su Pollard still has plenty of sparkle

For someone who has been in show business for more than four decades, Su Pollard has lost none of her enthusiasm for performing.

At Newark’s Palace Theatre with her show And Another Thing...., the popular entertainer gave a whistlestop journey through her long and varied career.

Throwing in a few songs as well, including her 1986 hit, Starting Together, she was a whirlwind of energy, and still looked as if she could go on for much longer when the show ended.

The first half of the show was Su ­— dressed from head to toe in sparkles ­— looking back at her career, with the help of a few props.

After the interval she was back to answer the audience’s questions. A great night with a national treasure ­— SH.
