Beauty And The Beast at New Theatre Royal, Lincoln, postponed until 2021
With the ongoing uncertainty surrounding coronavirus, the New Theatre Royal, Lincoln, has decided to postpone this year’s pantomime.
Beauty And The Beast will now take place in December 2021.
A theatre spokesman said: “After careful consideration, and taking into account the continued circumstances surrounding covid-19, we have had to make the difficult decision to move our Christmas pantomime, Beauty And The Beast to next year.
“We are looking into the option of presenting an alternative production this festive season, and will keep you up to date if we have any developments.”
All ticket holders will be contacted when a skeleton staff returns to the venue next month.
But theatre-goers will not have to wait a whole year to see a pantomime in Lincoln.
The New Theatre Royal plans to stage an Easter pantomime of The Jungle Book.
The show, which was due to have been stage in April this year, will now be performed from April 12 to April 18 next year.
