Following the government’s announcement today, that Nottinghamshire will remain in tier three, live performances of the Nottingham Playhouse’s festive offerings have again been delayed.

The Playhouse’s chief executive, Stephanie Sirr, said: “We are disappointed to confirm that Nottingham Playhouse will remain closed to the public due to tier three restrictions.

“Our Cinderella Online Christmas Eve Special will go ahead as planned.

“We will be here with two fantastic productions to spread Christmas cheer and theatre magic far and wide, whilst protecting the safety of our audiences.

“We will continue to monitor and implement the latest Government guidance and keep everyone informed.”

Affected ticket holders will be contacted.

Jack And The Beanstalk is due to run until January 2 and Cinderella until Saturday, January 16.
