Southwell Minster hosts BBC's Any Questions and a performance by Mirabilé
The latest lunchtime concert at Southwell Minster is a performance by Mirabilé today (Friday, April 14).
The Nottingham-based vocal ensemble will perform a programme that includes A Little Jazz Mass by Bob Chilcott.
Admission to the concert, which lasts around 45 minutes, is free but there will be a retiring collection for the minster’s organ scholarship.
There will be tea, coffee and biscuits in the minster from 1pm with the music starting at 1.30pm.
Also, today is the recording of BBC Radio 4’s weekly topical discussion show Any Questions?
It is the chance pose questions to a panel of personalities from the worlds of politics and media.
Doors open at 6.30pm and close at 7.15pm
The show will start at 8pm in the nave with an audience warm up at 7.30pm.
