Ocean artwork

A major new art exhibition has opened at Nottingham Contemporary.
Aquatopia, until September 22, brings together more than 150 contemporary and historic artworks exploring the imagining of the ocean, covering everything from sea monsters to giant squid, and shipwrecks to sirens.
Work on display is by JMW Turner, Odilon Redon, Hokusai, Barbara Hepworth, Oskar Kokoshka, Steve Claydon, Wangechi Mutu, Juergen Teller, Alex Bag and Mikhail Karikis.
