Palace Pals
The Palace has announced an extension of its Friends of the Palace scheme, aimed at children. The Palace Pals is targeted at under 14s who have a blossoming interest in theatre, whether as a performer, backstage or just in the audience.
The scheme will give members access to reduced ticket prices, pantomime merchandise and exclusive workshops every half-term holiday, among other benefits. Membership costs £10 for a year, or £7 for any additional children in the same household.
Theatre manager Carys Coulton-Jones said: “The scheme has been in development through the early part of this year. We are delighted to be welcoming our first members now.
“Children are a really important part of our audience and when they show an early interest in and enthusiasm for theatre, from whatever perspective, we want to be able to nurture that and Palace Pals will enable us to achieve this.”
