The poetry supper, Hearty Food And Heartfelt Words at Gannets Bistro, Newark, on Friday was a big hit.
Roy Marshall, Fiona Theokritoff and Jane Wyles read poetry featuring love and lace to a packed audience.
Guests at the event, part of the Nottingham Festival Of Words, were entertained by the poets reading their own work and their favourite love poems by Ted Hughes and WB Yeats.
Roy read Love And Lace, a poem inspired by and written for the evening — FT.
