Pop group Showaddywaddy shows no signs of stopping at Lincoln's New Theatre Royal
Pop band Showaddywaddy have been touring for almost half a century, but are showing no sign of slowing down.
They will be taking to the stage at Lincoln’s New Theatre Royal on Saturday.
Formed in Leicester in the 1970s, Showaddywaddy have recently claimed the title of ‘hardest working band’ for a second year running.
Specialising in revivals of hit songs from the 1950s and early 1960s, while also issuing original material, Showaddywaddy have sold more than 20m records and have spent 209 weeks in the UK singles chart.
Their live show is dynamic and uplifting, featuring all of their biggest hits, including Under The Moon of Love, Three Steps To Heaven, Hey Rock And Roll, When, Blue Moon, Pretty Little Angel Eyes, and many more.
It’s time to unleash your adventurous side as the Kendal Mountain Tour comes to the theatre the next day.
Created by the team behind the Kendal Mountain Festival, audiences will be guided through a curation of stories from across the globe, told by travellers, athletes, and activists.
Alongside the films, will be a talk from around the world cyclist Stephen Fabes, who travelled 53,568 miles across 75 countries over six years.
