Rapper slowthai announces Nottingham Rock City date on Hell Is Home tour

After topping the UK charts with his latest album, rapper slowthai has announced a UK tour.

The Hell Is Home tour includes a date at Nottingham’s Rock City on March 24 next year.

The British rapper released Tyron — his real first name — in February and it has already sold double that of his debut album, Nothing Great About Britain, which was released two years ago.

Slowthai originates from a childhood nickname. Born Tyron Frampton, he was raised in Northampton and has been releasing music since 2016.

He was named in the BBC Sound of 2019 list and has been nominated for the Mercury Prize, Q Awards and NME Awards for Northing Great About Britain.

His latest album features the singles Cancelled andVex, as well as adhd, which highlights his battle with the condition.

Slowthai recently announced a Something To Look Forward To tour for September in support of small venues, which sold out in minutes.

In the hope of not disappointing his fans, he has now prepared a full-blown roam of the country for March next year.
