Real-life couple join farce

Hollywood husband and wife Maxwell Caulfield and Juliet Mills head an all-star cast in Alan Ayckbourn’s Bedroom Farce.

Trevor and Susannah have a problem relationship that needs urgent attention, so what better solution is there than to talk it over with family and friends, preferably in their respective bedrooms and ideally in the middle of the night?

Inevitably, one problem relationship tends to spark another. When you have friends like Trevor and Susannah, nobody gets much sleep.

Juliet was nominated for a best actress Golden Globe for her role in Billy Wilder’s Avanti! and was recently seen with her sister, Hayley Mills, in the ITV series, Wild At Heart.

Maxwell is known for his roles in Dynasty, The Colbys, and Grease 2. For several years he was in the Holby City and Casualty before playing Mark Wylde in Emmerdale.

Bedroom Farce also features Bruce Montague (Butterflies, Keeping Up Appearances and Doctors) Claire Wilkie (EastEnders) Oliver Boot (Holby City, Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps and Hotel Babylon) Julia Mallam (Emmerdale) and Ayden Callaghan (Emmerdale).

It is at the Theatre Royal, Nottingham, from Monday, September 13, until Saturday, September 18.
