AFTER another sell-out run in the West End, the live stage adaptation of the best-selling picture book, The Gruffalo, is back on tour of the UK.

The magical musical adaptation will be at the Theatre Royal, Nottingham, from Thursday, April 22, to Sunday, April 25.

The Gruffalo, by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, tells the story of Mouse who goes on an adventurous journey through the deep dark wood.

There, he meets a wheeler-dealer Fox, an eccentric old Owl and a maraca-shaking, party-mad Snake.

Mouse can scare these hungry animals away with tall stories of the terrifying Gruffalo, but what happens when he comes face to face with the very creature he imagined?

The Gruffalo is an ideal introduction to theatre for pre and primary pupils and their families; with plenty of songs, laughs and fun for children aged three and over.
