After four years at the London Palladium and three years touring large-scale venues in the UK, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is back.

Based on the novel by Ian Fleming, it will take to the stage at the Theatre Royal, Nottingham, from Tuesday (Feb 2) to February 20.

This box office hit has been revamped, updated and technologically advanced in order to take it on tour.

Directed by Adrian Noble, it features a cast and crew of more than 100 — including ten dogs — sensational sets, a full orchestra and stunning special effects.

The musical tells the story of a magical car, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Eccentric inventor Caractacus Potts, his children, Jemima and Jeremy, Truly Scrumptious and Grandpa Potts try and outwit the evil Baron and Child Catcher with Chitty’s help.
