Outlawed at Nonsuch Studios, Nottingham, gives Robin Hood and his Merry Men a new look
Robin Hood has been reimagined like never before in a show with a difference this Christmas.
He makes an appearance in the cabaret and drag show Outlawed at Nottingham’s Nonsuch Studios.
Set in Sherwood Forests’ naughtiest speakeasy, The Major Oak - a secret venue in the famous secret hideout, Outlawed will see Nonsuch Studios in Hockley theatre transformed into an immersive cabaret club, where audience members can enjoy the action from stage-side cabaret tables.
It will feature drag acts, an attention-seeking burlesque-loving Sheriff and hosted by a generally hopeless Robin and Marian.
Edward Boott, director of Outlawed, said: “Everyone at Nonsuch Studios is so excited about bringing Outlawed to audiences across Nottingham this Christmas. This is a project that has been many years in the making and we can’t wait to unleash the adventures of Robin, Marian, Tuck’d and the Sheriff on to our stage.
Outlawed runs at Nonsuch Studios, on Lennox Street in Hockley until December 22.
