Nottingham Rock City to host sister act The Staves in support of latest album Good Woman
Sister act The Staves are heading out on tour in support of their latest album, Good Woman, which was released earlier this year.
They will be at Nottingham’s Rock City on Wednesday (October 6).
The Staves are sisters Emily, Jessica and Camilla Staveley-Taylor from Watford, who started performing at open mic nights.
They said: “It’s been a long old year and we can’t wait to play music in front of people again. We hope to see all your lovely faces there.”
Good Woman is the fourth album for the indie-folk trio.
It was written and recorded in a time of severe turmoil for the band, seeing the ending of relationships, the death of their beloved mother and the birth of Emily’s first child.
They said it is a testament to their strength and that of other women.
