Dancing On Ice 2012 champion and Emmerdale favourite Matthew Wolfenden will head the cast on the Nottingham dates of this year’s live tour.

Matthew, who plays David Metcalfe in the Yorkshire-based soap will be joined by Andy Whyment from Coronation Street, Sugababe singer Heidi Range, X Factor singer Chico and last year’s Dancing On Ice champion, actor Sam Attwater.

Matthew had some of the highest scores in the series with his skating partner Nina Ulanova and wowed the crowds with his Singin’ In The Rain routine.

All the celebrities have been trained and choreographed by Olympic skaters, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, who will perform routines choreographed exclusively for the live tour.

They will take to the ice at Capital FM Arena Nottingham from Friday, April 20, to Sunday, April 22.

At each performance the audience can vote for their favourite celebrity skater.

Using the same format as the hit ITV1 show, spectators can use their mobile phones to text vote for their favourite celebrity.

Audience votes are added to scores from the judges to decide the overall celebrity winner.

The winning couple then take to the ice for a magical finale performance. All profits from text voting go to charity.

A total of £106,475 has been raised to date and has been donated to the Royal London Society For The Blind and Demelza Hospice Care for Children.
