Adam Ant to perform at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall as career-spanning retrospective album The Singles released
One of the biggest cultural figures of the 1980s is revisiting singles spanning his career, and taking them back on stage in a major tour.
Adam Ant — a dandy highwayman, a musical maverick, and iconic pop star — is charting his entire journey from new wave eccentric to superstar in a brand-new career-spanning retrospective album The Singles.
The new album will feature all of his singles from Adam and The Ants and his solo career in chronological order.
The release will also see the BRIT and two-time Ivor Novello award-winning, as well as a Grammy nominee, star back on a headline UK tour.
It will include a show at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall on November 12.
The Singles starts in 1978, with Young Parisians, continuing with ten ‘Top 10’ hits charted through to 1983, 1990’s funk-rock strut of Room At The Top — right through to the latest chapter of Adam Ant with his 2008 comeback and subsequent sold-out shows around the globe.
