The Fosseway Writers of Newark tonight play host to novelist, short story writer and workshop leader, Linda Lewis.
Linda is judging the group’s well-established Mabel Barber Memorial Competition this year and will announce the winners at the meeting which starts at 7pm in Knight’s Court Social Hall.
The contest is held annually to mark the life of one of the group’s keenest members, whose memoirs, Meg From Newark, was published by them shortly after her death several years ago.
The contest attracted 60 entries.
