Carols and story telling will be among the attractions at a Victorian-themed Christmas celebration at Southwell Workhouse.
At the event on Friday, December 7, costumed National Trust volunteers dressed as workhouse staff and paupers will lead an evening of Christmas activities.
Tales will be told about life in the workhouse and there will also be carol singing accompanied by Essentially Brass.
Other attractions will include craft stalls and refreshments of mulled wine and mince pies.
Tickets for the event, from 5pm to 8pm, cost £3.50 for adults and must be booked in advance. Children are free.
