Think Floyd, ELO Experience, and Ben Elton at Newark’s Palace Theatre

The sounds of rock greats are to be recreated on stage by highly regarded tribute acts.

Think Floyd will be brining classic Pink Floyd tunes to Newark’s Palace Theatre on January 25 in an exciting new show.

Backed by a laser light show, the band — touted as ‘brilliant’ by Pink Floyd's Nick Mason — will faithfully recreate all the atmosphere, visual magnitude and musical excellence of Pink Floyd live on stage.

Favourites from Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, The Wall, The Division Bell and more will be among the setlist.

Then, on January 31, The ELO Experience will bring their tribute to The Electric Light Orchestra to the stage.

The multi-award winning tribute band boast a sensational string section, and also promise stunning visuals with a light show and large screen projection as they take audiences on a magical musical journey through time.

Audiences will be taken back to the 70s as they experience the unique pop and classical fusion sound of the Birmingham band recreated live.

Comedy follows the musical offerings at the Palace, as Ben Elton brings his show Authentic Stupidity on the road.

The “undisputed godfather of modern stand-up” will call in Newark on February 1, to bring his humorous take on AI to audiences — reckoning that “good old fashioned Authentic Stupidity” is what we really ought to be worrying about.

The comedian made a return to live comedy in 2019 after a fifteen year hiatus, and has long been regarded for his taboo-busting humour.
