Whisky galore

THERE will be whisky, history and Celtic music when Bob Bales presents Highland Dreams — Myths And More.

The composer, musician, artist, raconteur and historian from Erfurt in Germany will be at The Wig And Mitre, Lincoln, tomorrow and at The George Hotel, Leadenham, on Sunday at 7pm.

The idea for the show was conceived two years ago. Bob has a passion for his Celtic heritage, ancient history of Scotland and Ireland and the mysteries of whisky itself.

People have the chance to try six different single malt whiskies of varying ages and regions through some in-depth knowledge of the technical and historical aspects, peppered with anecdotes, insider stories, music, visuals on screen, discussion and supper.
