Biff the ballet dancing dog pirouettes into the Terry O’Toole Theatre, North Hykeham, this weekend with a performance of Dogs Don’t Do Ballet by Ollerton-based theatre company Little Blue Monster Productions.

Biff is not like other dogs — he doesn’t scratch his fleas or drink out of the toilet, instead he likes music, moonlight and walking on his tip-toes.

That is because Biff doesn’t think he is a dog, he thinks he is a ballerina and will stop at nothing to make his dream come true.

Based on the award-winning book of the same name by Anna Kemp and Sara Ogilvie, it is brought to life using handcrafted puppets, music and songs.

Suitable for children aged three and over, there are two performances — at noon and 3pm on Saturday.

Little Blue Monster Productions was behind the penguin adventure Lost And Found, which was staged at the theatre last year.
