12-year-old boy dies following collision in Langar

A 12-year-old boy has died following a collision on an industrial estate in Langar.

Nottinghamshire Police say the boy was in a white Transit Tipper van which was involved in a collision at 3.10pm on Monday (May 4).

He was pronounced dead at the scene and has been named as Luke Aitken, from Melton Mowbray.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is helping police with their inquiries.
