One lane of the A1 southbound was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue released one person from a vehicle.
A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said one casualty was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham, and another to Lincoln Hospital. Neither have injuries believed to be life-threatening.
