Space-themed mobiles were created at a workshop at Southwell Library yesterday.
About ten children, aged four to nine, attended the event, held as part of the library’s summer reading challenge.
The challenge asks children to read six books during the school holidays.
For every two books they read they get a prize and if they complete the challenge they receive a certificate and an invite to a party.
This year’s theme is Space Hop.
Before starting work on the mobiles, the children were read three books about space.
Children have until September 11 to complete the reading challenge.
