Joseph Lee, 21, of Balderton, pleads guilty to aggravated burglary charge following incident at Philip Avenue, Newark
A man has pleaded guilty to an aggravated burglary that took place on Philip Avenue, Newark last month.
Joseph Lee, of Bowbridge Lane, Balderton, pleaded guilty to aggravated burglary, causing grievous bodily harm and possession of a bladed article in Nottingham Crown Court.
The 21-year-old, who appeared via a video link, burst into a Newark property on January 18 wounding a 49-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman.
John Price, 31, of Turner Lane, Boughton, also appeared in court this morning having been charged with the same counts.
Price pleaded not guilty via a video link and will face a three-day trial at Nottingham Crown Court on the week commencing August 12.
Lee will not be sentenced until the conclusion of this trial.
