Balderton stabbing: Detectives given extra time to question arrested woman

Detectives have been granted further time to question a woman, who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing in Balderton.
Notts Police have confirmed the woman in custody is 52 rather than the 45 they had previously quoted.
The injured man who was stabbed at the weekend continues to show signs of improvement in hospital.
Police were called to a house in Nelson Road, Newark, at just before 10.15pm on Sunday (July 6 2014).
The 52-year-old victim was taken to Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre. He remains there today in a serious but stable condition.
