Newark and Sherwood Concert band to play a series of Christmas concerts at St Mary Magdalene Church, Kelham Hall and Newark Town Hall in Nottinghamshire

A number of Christmas Concerts will see the Newark and Sherwood Concert Band playing over the festive season.

Kelham Hall will host the band on Tuesday, December 12 with their concert also starting at 6.30pm.

"We are thrilled to once again be working alongside the Newark and Sherwood Concert Band to bring you our very own Christmas Concert," said a spokesman for the event.

"Join us for an enchanting evening of musical magic.

"This event promises a delightful blend of well-known Christmas songs that everyone will cherish, putting everyone in the festive mood.

"Immerse yourself in the heartwarming melodies of the season as the talented musicians guide you through a mesmerising performance of festive music.

"To complement this wondrous evening, we will be offering a selection of savoury snacks for purchase, alongside a range of cold and hot beverages to keep you refreshed."

There will be a free concert featuring the band in the ballroom of the Newark Town Hall on Tuesday December 19, starting at 7.00pm.
