Body of missing man found
The body of a man, thought to be that of missing man Konrad Broda, has been found in a field near to Normanton-on-Trent.
A body was discovered by officers yesterday afternoon as they carried out extensive searches to find the missing man, who is a Polish national.
Police are exploring the circumstances surrounding his death and cannot currently confirm whether or not his death is suspicious.
Officers continue to carry out enquiries at the scene.
Mr Broda, 21, attended a party at Holly Farm, Low Marnham, on Saturday evening (March 9) with a number of friends and at some point during the evening said he was stepping outside for a cigarette.
He did not return to the party and was reported missing at around 7pm on Sunday.
Police carried out extensive searches at outbuildings, several addresses, and the surrounding countryside, before discovering a body this afternoon.
Mr Broda, who lived in Hallowgate Lane, High Marnham, worked locally as a fork lift truck driver.
On the night he went missing, Mr Broda was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and black Adidas trainers. He was white, 6ft 1inch tall, with shaven head and green eyes. He was slim with a fair complexion.
