Newark RAF Air Cadets calls for new recruits

After a year like no other, Newark Air Cadets can open its doors for new young recruits to join the unit.

The RAF Air Cadets is a UK-wide uniformed youth organisation, welcoming all young people aged 12 (and in school year eight) to 17 to join.

It offers opportunities from Duke of Edinburgh Award to flying, and fieldcraft to Btecs.

An open day for young people and their parents/guardians to find out more is being held on Saturday, 10am to 2pm, at the Squadron HQ at the Cadet Centre on Sherwood Avenue, Newark.

It is the chance to meet current cadets and staff, have a look at what they do and ask any questions you may have.
