Nottinghamshire Community Foundation looking for entrepreneurs at Dragons Den style event




Nottinghamshire Community Foundation have organised another Dragons Den style event which will be hosted by Nottingham University.

Those with a business idea and looking for a small grant can apply to the event, which takes place on Septemer 26, with applications open until August 31.

Applicants will be given the opportunity to pitch to a panel of successful business leaders who will decide on which ideas will receive a grant of up to £3,000.

It is also a chance to receive free business advice and support.

Nina Dauban, chief executive of Nottinghamshire Community Foundation, “We are pleased to announce this our 12th den and delighted it is being hosting by Nottingham University.

“Previous Dens have shown us that applicants get so much more than the grant. Past winners have been given free premises, new websites and IT support, new machinery, free marketing and even investment from the Dragons.”

This year the Dragons Panel includes; Bev Parr of B&J Parr Ltd, Ian Baxter of Baxter Freight, Paul Barry from Phenna Group, Bob Harbey, the retired co-founder of Microlise and Nadeem Raza from Microlise.
