Kings Court Care Home to host festive Summer Carnival Fair event




A care home will spread a little bit of joy to the community this weekend with a special summertime get together.

On Saturday (August 9), the Kings Court, Care Home in Middlebeck will host its annual Summer Carnival, from 11am to 3pm.

The event promises a joyful day filled with carnival music, games, entertainment, local stall holders and activities for all ages.

They will be welcoming residents, families, and members of the community to celebrate.

Live entertainment will be performed by Andy Greaves. Children and adults will be enchanted by Andy’s ventriloquism with beloved characters.

There will be hot food and sweet treats from the home, as well as a tombola and raffles inside too, alongside stalls.

Katrina Rick, Kings Court deputy manager, said: “We’re excited to open our doors to the community for an afternoon of fun, laughter, and connection.

“This Summer Carnival is a wonderful opportunity for families, friends, and neighbours to come together and celebrate the spirit of our community.”

The upcoming Summer Carnival is part of Kings Court ongoing commitment to promoting wellbeing and happiness among its residents through engaging activities that celebrate life’s joyful moments.
