Carl Fogarty and James Whitham to race head-to-head around the legendary Manx TT course with Steve Plater adjudicating — at the Classic Bike Guide Winter Classic at Newark Showground

Star guests Carl Fogarty and James Whitham are set to race head-to-head around the legendary Manx TT course — at the Classic Bike Guide Winter Classic show.

Foggy and Whit will straddle the famous Sega Manx TT Superbike arcade game, battling to see who’s the virtual king of the mountain at the classic at Newark Showground this weekend.

The adjudicator will be none other than TT champ and TV pundit Steve Plater.

It is hoped organisers might even tempt Plater out of retirement and see if he can top the timing board.

See this epic race live at 12.30pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

The Sega Manx TT Superbike twin arcade machine will also be available for visitors to the show to compete over the weekend — free of charge — offering show-goers the chance to race their mates to see if they can beat the top times of the legendary racers.

The show will open the new season with hundreds of bikes on display, the best club stands the UK has to offer, more trade and autojumble stands plus much more.
