Cemetery views sought

Members of the Friends of Newark Cemetery will be in Newark Market Place today to find out what people want from the facility.

They are hoping as many people as possible fill out a questionnaire, so they can get a good idea of how the cemetery is perceived and what can be done to make it a more central part of the community.

The survey also aims to make residents more aware of the cemetery and its forthcoming events, including the opening of an interpretation centre next month.
