Chance to see firefighters at work at Newark station's open day Sunday

Newark Fire Station is holding an open day on Sunday, from 10am to 3pm.

The event includes fire service drills, ice-cream and Pulp Friction food, including hotdogs, burgersand drinks with lots of local small traders also present to boost their profiles.

Nottinghamshire Police, the Fire Preservation Society and Newark and Sherwood District Council will be present.
